Although he works full time in television, Ron has been involved with radio since the 70s, when he joined Radio Paisley, helping out voluntarily
at the hospital broadcasting service. He also worked part time at Radio Clyde, when it was still on 261 metres, helping to produce various shows on Saturday afternoons. Radio has always been a passion for him and some years later, his voice was heard on Q96 in Paisley. Recently, he has returned to his radio roots, by presenting shows for HBS Glasgow and Southern Sound, both hospital radio services. His series, The Nostalgia Show, was first heard on Radio Six International a couple of years ago and Ron continues that format now live on Johnstone Sound.
